Second place for Spoho students at the International Olympic Case Study Competition
20 universities from 11 countries participated in the master’s category of this year’s International Olympic CaseStudy Competition (CSC). Six of them made it to the finals, including the team from the German Sport University Cologne. The students ultimately finished in second place.
The International Olympic Case Study Competition (CSC) took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 24 March 2026. Students from Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary) and Ibn Tofail University (Morocco) were named as the winners in the undergraduate and master’s categories. The German participants who finished in second place in the master’s category are students in the master’s programme in International Sport Development and Politics at the German Sport University Cologne.
The CSC organised by the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Studies Centre (OSC) is a unique academic initiative that brings together students from leading universities around the world. Designed as a hands-on learning experience, the CSC challenges participants to apply their knowledge to real-world issues faced by organisations within the Olympic Movement.
