Colloquium

The colloquium is held on a bi-weekly basis and allows PhD students to present topics from their respective PhD work. Topics may range from specific experiments to conceptual discussions of whole PhD projects. Moreover, the colloquium invites all senior staff to provide input, report about their projects, prepare for conferences as well as discuss possible funding applications. Finally, we are aimig at inviting external guests or researchers to inform about external activities and collaboration opportunities. Researchers and students from other departments/institutes of the DSHS are welcome.

The general tentative agenda for these meetings comprises of three items:

• a) Room for general/current topics
• b) Methodological questions (specific)
• c) Project/main or invited presentation

(Agenda may be adjusted as required).
