Vélomanie - Public lectures at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf

The excitement before the start of the Tour de France in Düsseldorf is rising. A lecture series at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität opened on April 25th, 2017 with the reading of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Mittag of the GSU.

Students of GSU at FIFA Conference in Zurich

Dina Klingmann and Maximilian Seltmann participated at the FIFA Conference of the Schwabenakademie Irsee from 17th to 19th February 2017 in Zurich. The conference was entitled: "FOOTBALL AND NATION-BUILDING II: (South-)East-Europe and Overseas Countries".

Deutschlandradio: Sport for Development

Guest lecture: Jeroen Scheerder (KU Leuven)

On Tuesday, 31st January 2017 Prof Dr. Jeroen Scheerder (KU Leuven) will give a guest lecture about “National sport authorities and national sport bodies: it takes two to tango”. The lecture takes place from 12.30 to 2.00pm in Hö 5 in the HJZ.

Guest lecture: Alexander Cardenas

On wednesday, 25th January 2017, Alexander Cardenas will give a guest lecture about: "Columbia, sport and peace building: some lessons and the way forward". The lecture is part of the Master Programme DEV and takes place from 2.30-4.00pm in SR 50.

Guest lecture: Axel Schäfer (MdB, stellvertretender Fraktionsvorsitzender)

On Tuesday, 20th December 2016, Axel Schäfer (MdB, stellv. Fraktionsvorsitzender) will give a guest lecture about "Aktuelle Herausforderungen nationaler und internationaler Sportpolitik aus Sicht des Dt. Bundestages". The lecture takes place from 12.00 - 2.30pm in Hö 5 at the HJZ.

ENSE and SPEACH: Bringing Health Enhancing Physical Activity (HEPA) into Sport

In February 2017, around 70 students from 6 European countries will come together and train the newly developed HEPA modules with teachers from 7 EU countries. These modules are part of the ‘Sport Physical Education and Coaching for Health’ (SPEACH) project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU (2015-2017).
