Prof. Wassong: IOC Olympic Education Commission

Prof. Wassong is a member of the IOC Olympic Education Commission since 2015. This year´s commission meeting took place from 23^rd to 24^th November in Lausanne. Central topics were Olympic Values Education Overview and Role, Olympic Culture and Heritage 3.0, Olympic Studies Centre und Implementing OVEP (Olympic Values Education Programme). As spokesperson of the working group Olympic Studies Centre Prof. Wassong had the opportunity to on the teaching and research activities of the Olympic studies Centre of the German Sport University Cologne. He was also able to present the recently revised curriculum of the M.A. Olympic studies to member of various IOC commissions. Prof. Wassong emphasized the importance of this opportunity for the continuous positioning of the master´s programme and the further strengthening of the cooperation with the IOC.
