New President´s Office starts today

On May 20, 2020 the new term of office of the President of the German Sport University Cologne Univ.-Prof. Dr. Heiko Strüder begins. The term of office of the Vice-Presidents is also linked to this, two of whom have already been active in the Rectorate and three of whom are new.

As new members were elected to the President´s Office:

    Univ. Prof. Dr Hedda Lausberg: Research, Scientific Staff and Young Academics
    Prof. Dr. Anja Niehoff: Knowledge and Technology Transfer
    Univ. Prof. Dr. Thomas Abel: Communication, Digitalisation and Diversity

The current vice presidents were re-elected:

    Univ. Prof. Dr. Jens Kleinert: Studies, Teaching and Quality Management
    Univ. Prof. Dr. Christoph Breuer: Planning, Resources and Appointments

"I am very pleased that the university election assembly followed my proposal with such a clear vote and thank you for your trust", said President Heiko Strüder after the election in October 2019. "I am convinced that with this team I will be able to successfully master the future challenges."
