Orange Days

November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, followed by the so-called “Orange Days.” To mark the occasion, the German Sport University Cologne is drawing attention to the issue of violence against women and girls with various campaigns and events.

This year, around 30 universities in North Rhine-Westphalia are cooperating with the “State Conference of Equal Opportunities Officers at Universities and University Hospitals in North Rhine-Westphalia (LaKof NRW)” to take a stand against violence and raise awareness of the issue. The German Sport University Cologne is also participating. A joint series of lectures will be offered in an online format. In addition, the German Sport University Cologne is offering workshops and events for staff and students.
