Choreographic Coding Lab (CCL) (6.-10.09.2023)

The newest edition of the Choreographic Coding Lab (CCL) will take place from the 06.-10.09.2023 in collaboration with the German Sports University Cologne at the Institute of Dance and Movement Culture.

Submit your application from May 5, 2023: https://choreographiccoding.org/#/calls

The CCL format by Motion Bank (https://motionbank.org/) offers opportunities of exchange and collaboration for digital media artists, designers and creative coders who have an interest in translating aspects of choreography and dance into digital form. It is also an opportunity for dancers, choreographers and researchers of related fields to engage with questions arising from the use of technology in the field of dance.

In a five-day interdisciplinary peer-to-peer setting, the participants work on their own projects, share knowledge and discuss ideas. Results from the week might range from prototypes for artworks to new tools for working with dance related datasets. The CCL will take place in the frame of the https://vortanz.ai research project and will focus on dance and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
