Dr. Timo Klein-Soetebier was born on 20.11.1984 in Bielefeld and is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Exercise Training and Sport Informatics (Department II: Cognition- and Sports Games Research) at the German Sport University Cologne. He completed his Master's degree at the University of Bielefeld with a focus on sport informatics. He wrote his doctoral thesis entitled " Fitts' law in partner interaction: emergent coordination patterns and systematic interaction effects in solving cooperative tasks“ (https://digital.ub.uni-paderborn.de/urn/urn:nbn:de:hbz:466:2-14633) at Saarland University (2010-2012) and Paderborn University (2012-2014) under Professor Matthias Weigelt. Since 2014, he has headed the teaching and research area of table tennis at the GSU Cologne. Together with Dr. Marianne Eberhard-Kaechele, he has been contact person for anti-discrimination since 2020.
