Profile

Mai Geisen (M.Sc.) received her Bachelor's degree in 'Applied Movement Sciences' at the University of Regensburg. From 2016 to 2017, she studied 'Sports and Exercise Science' during a semester abroad at the Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. In 2020, she obtained a Master's degree in 'Psychology in Sport and Exercise' at the GSU and has since been working on her PhD at the Institute of Exercise Training and Sport Informatics, Department of Cognition- and Sports Games Research. Her responsibilities mainly relate to the research and development of innovative, digital feedback methods for sport motor learning. With regard to her work on knowledge and technology transfer, she won 1st place in the 2022 Promotors Think Tank for “Digital Applications for Education and Mediation in Sport” at the German Sport University. Mai Geisen has experience in project coordination as well as managing and conducting several scientific studies.
