ESA Academy Conference Student Sponsorship

The ESA Education Office is pleased to sponsor up to 5 tertiary education students to attend the 45th annual meeting of the International Society of Gravitational Physiology (ISGP) under the ESA Academy Conference Student Sponsorship programme. The sponsorship covers:

  • the early‑bird student registration fee;
  • up to EUR 350 for travel;
  • up to EUR 375 for accommodation (up to 5 nights).

Reimbursements will be made via a single bank transfer after the event, upon submission of receipts.  

To be eligible for an ESA Academy Student Sponsorship, students must fulfil the following criteria at the time of application:

  • individually present an accepted contribution at the conference (oral presentation, poster, other);
  • be minimum 18 years old at the time of the conference;
  • be a citizen of an ESA Member State, Associate Member, or Canada;
  • be enrolled as a student (Bsc, Msc, or Ph.D.) in a tertiary education academic programme (not graduating before the Conference);
  • not benefit from an overlapping financial support to attend this conference, unless duly justified;
  • agree with the conditions of the ESA Academy’s Privacy Policy.

Priority will be given to students who have less than 2 years of professional experience and have never taken part in an activity sponsored by the ESA Education Office.

 

The deadline for applications is February 8th 2026 at 23:59 CEST.

The decision by the Selection Committee will be communicated by February 23th 2026.

Canadian Space Agency | Agence spatiale canadienne (CSA / ASC)

The CSA is offering grants to Canadian postsecondary students to attend the 45th annual meeting of the ISGP under their Announcement of Opportunity (AO) to support Canadian Student Participation in Space Conferences and Training Events.
Successful applicants will be awarded a grant to cover:

  •  travel expenses
  • registration fees
  • accommodations and meal allowances


To be eligible for a grant under this AO, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
  • be enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution at the college, undergraduate, master’s or doctoral levels at the time of the event

The registration needs to be done at least 3 weeks before the application deadline (February 3, 2026 1:00 PM (ET)).
