The Niedersächsischer Turner-Bund (NTB) is seeking, at the earliest possible opportunity and to strengthen

the Olympic Elite Sport, a State Coach in the field of Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (m/f/d).

The NTB is the largest sport’s governing body within the Lower Saxony Sports Federation and one of the

largest regional federations. We are a non-profit community comprising both volunteer and full-time staff.

Our aim is to provide professional support to our approximately 2,800 gymnastics and sports clubs, which

together have more than 820,000 members. We create the necessary framework for professional, respectful and successful elite sport. Are you passionate about men’s artistic gymnastics and eager to support

young athletes on their journey with both heart and expertise?

Scope of the position: Full time, 39.8 hours/week, permanent contract

Your responsibilities:

• Implementation of the framework training concept with modern methods

• Sustainability-driven development of young talents appropriate with age and level (12ys and up)

• Coordination, supervision and professional coaching of the squad athletes from Lower Saxony

and neighboring federal states during training and all squad-relevant competitions

• Annual planning, delivering and evaluating training schedules, performance training camps (at

state and federal level) and squad tests in close cooperation with the coaching team

• Independently conducting regular parent meetings and parent information sessions

• Conducting & participating in central training measures as well as coach education & training

courses

• Willingness to work in the evening and on weekends

What impresses us:

• A competitive sport background with profound experience in training for the required position

• A practical sports qualification, ideally with a university degree and an A-licence coaching

certificate (at minimum a B-licence) or equivalent foreign qualification

• Excellent knowledge of national and international performance requirements

• Strong social and pedagogical skills, team spirit and good communication skills

• Independent, goal-oriented and reliable work ethic – including at weekends

• Good spoken and written German/English skills or willingness of learning German

• Confident use of digital working tools, digital document management and standard IT applications

(MS Office, Teams)

• Curiosity, passion for sport and plenty of drive
