Scholarship application
General information
If you want to apply for a scholarship to attend the Summer School Research 2023, then, as in the case of registration, please submit the following forms (see the box on the right hand side) as a single PDF document, completely filled in, each with place, date and your signature:
- Registration form,
- Declaration of consent for data protection,
- Curriculum vitae form,
- Motivation letter form.
For your motivation letter use the form of the same name with the addition with scholarship application.
Deadline for scholarship applications
The deadline for scholarship applications is 30th of April, 2023.
Motivation letter
The heart of your scholarship application will be your letter of motivation. Other than in the case of a simple registration, your letter of motivation consists of two parts:
- Your actual letter of motivation where you should make clear why you argue that interdisciplinary research approaches in sports science play an important role in your current and/or future research. You should also explain here where you see methodological links to research at the GSU with regard to your field of research and your research questions. Please formulate in complete sentences. Write at least half a page and no more than a full page (at least 1,200 to 2,400 characters without spaces).
- A second part where you should explain the reason for your request of a scholarship to attend the GSU Summer School Research 2023. Please mention here substantive reasons (e.g., the excellence of your interdisciplinary research) and, if applicable, practical reasons (e.g., lack of funding).
