Description
The role of a research group leader is often described as being placed in a challenging “sandwich position”. On the one hand, in such a position one leads single researchers or an entire scientific team. On the other hand, one is depending on the heads of departments, etc. This requires competencies in leading a team as well as in lateral leadership. In order to master various demands (while taking care of creative research projects) it is important to organize your own workflow and to lead your research group in an appropriate way. This workshop presents substantial knowledge as well as practical tools for effective management.
