Beschreibung

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) offers a full-time Website Content Internship Position (f/m/x) in an international and multicultural team at the IPC Headquarters in Bonn, Germany, from 15 May until 14 November 2024.

 

ABOUT THE IPC

The IPC, a purpose-driven non-profit association, is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement. We oversee the delivery of the Paralympic Games and Paralympic Winter Games and serve as International Federation for five Para sports. We enjoy a positive working relationship with the IPC Governing Board, members of which are democratically elected every four years by the IPC General Assembly. Since 1989, we have been creating change through sport with the Paralympic Games and Paralympic athletes at our core.

 

The IPC seeks to use the influential global position of the Paralympic Movement and the growing profile of Para athletes to challenge the stigma attached to disability and empower social transformation.

 

ROLE

The Website Content Intern will be supporting the Website Content Manager in the area of content and SEO. As the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games draw near, the IPC website is expected to experience a significant increase in visitor numbers. The Website Content Intern will be assisting the Website Content Manager in maintaining the currency of the IPC website.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

•Support content development projects to optimise the IPC website for both users and search engines.

•Contribute to diverse SEO projects run by the corporate communications team to further improve the IPC website.

•Contribute to the Analysis of existing content on the IPC website, propose enhancements, and implement improvements as needed for an optimized online presence.

•Assist in the review process to ensure the content on the IPC website is current and accurate.

•Support in reformatting the pages to ensure a consistent user experience.

 

CORE REQUIREMENTS

•Currently enrolled in a university degree or equivalent qualification in content development, copywriting, SEO or a relevant field.

•Passion for the IPC’s vision, mission and values.

•Excellent verbal and written command of English; additional languages are an asset.

•Interest experiencing an intercultural environment.

•Good interpersonal and communication skills.

•Open, creative and innovative mindset.

•The internship must be a mandatory part of one’s studies.
