We are thrilled to cooperate with EHF Marketing (responsible for the marketing and media rights of club competitions including the EHF Champions League Men and Women, the EHF European League Men and Women and EHF European Cup Men and Women) for a very special event in Cologne.

 

This is an amazing opportunity for Freelance Content Creators m/f/x audio and video!

 

Responsibilities:

Plan, shoot, and edit video content focused on handball, including match actions, player interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and documentary-style features

Attend handball matches and events for live coverage, interviews, and exclusive content creation

Generate creative ideas for video content that appeals to handball fans and new audiences

Develop storyboards and scripts that effectively convey your vision

Stay updated with new technologies, trends and techniques in video production and editing

Collaborate with the content team to align video projects with our broader content strategy and according to provided briefings

Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all video content

Ensure that all content reflects the federation's brand guidelines and standards

 

Requirements:

Genuine passion for and understanding of handball, including knowledge of teams and players

Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a portfolio of previous work that demonstrates your skills and creativity (experience in sports industry is preferred)

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, mobile editing apps and equipment like cameras, lens, lighting, audio

Strong creative thinking and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to produce engaging content

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct interviews and interact with players, fans as well as federation's representatives

Flexibility to travel across Europe and work as required by the sports events calendar

Fluency in English is required

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
