Sports & cultural events

Although scientific work and joint research are at the core of our Summer School, a diverse and varied sports and cultural programme is also an important part of this event. Normally, these programme items will take place in the evenings.

On the one hand, our central concern is to offer you all enough time to reflect on what you have worked out together in the workshops or what you have learnt new in the lectures. But on the other hand, it is also very important for us to give you enough space to come together informally and to network with each other. Especially, we would like to encourage scientific and social interactions between our international participants and the GSU students and researchers who will take part in this Summer School.

Therefore, we would be very pleased if you enjoy the Summer School’s sporting and cultural programme which we hope will contribute significantly to the success of the whole event!
