Haiyu Zhang is a PhD researcher in Sport Informatics at the German Sport University Cologne. His research focuses on machine learning in sports, with particular interests in sports forecasting, graph-based learning, and interpretable and transparent AI. He is currently working on graph-based models for sports forecasting and the application of machine learning to match analysis and decision support.
