The German Sport University Cologne, as a university of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, is unique in Germany in terms of both the breadth of its research activities and its approximately 6,000 students. At the Institute for Sport Economics and Sport Management a position as
Research Associate (f/m/d)
is to be filled as of the earliest possible date, part-time with a regular weekly working time of currently 19 hours and 55 minutes.
This is a qualification position under the German Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG), which serves to support the completion of a doctoral degree. The position is limited to the duration of the doctoral process, initially for a maximum period of 3 years.
Required qualifications:
Very good knowledge of research methods and quantitative data analysis
Subject to the fulfilment of personal and collective bargaining requirements, classification is up to pay grade 13 TV-L. Further information on the amount of remuneration can be found here here. The classification into pay levels is based on consideration of your personal professional experience.
The position includes a teaching load of 2 semester hours per week (SWS/F 1) in accordance with the NRW Teaching Obligation Regulation.
