Frequently Asked Questions


Free parking spaces are available along the street ‘Am Sportpark Müngersdorf’. However, these are limited. There is a large car park available free of charge at the Wahnwiesen (Junkersdorfer Str.), which is in the immediate vicinity. You can find directions for travelling by public transport here. There are plenty of bicycle parking spaces available.


No. Our campus is generally open to the public and can be visited without prior booking. For some areas, such as our laboratories and institutes, you will need to book in advance with the relevant department.

  • Are you a member of the media looking for a suitable location for filming? If so, please contact the press office.

We offer guided tours for school groups in Years 10 to 13, subject to prior booking. Further information can be found here.

Yes. The ‘eduroam’ Wi-Fi network, which is available internationally, is accessible on campus. For official events, visits, conferences, etc., you can also apply in advance for guest Wi-Fi access via the relevant contact person at our university.


Yes. There are various places to eat on our campus. There are also several free drinking water dispensers available, including one in the foyer. 


Yes. You can apply for a visitor’s pass on site. The annual fee is 20 euros. Further information.
