Campus on the Move

Our campus is as vibrant and diverse as the people who come together here. Short distances, green surroundings and numerous meeting places foster a close-knit community and an inspiring atmosphere for learning and working, where people know one another and enjoy exchanging ideas.

Short distances. Big opportunities.

From the 50-metre pool at the Swimming Training Centre to one of the 500 seats in Lecture Theatre 1, then on to the tartan track at the athletics stadium and into the laboratory of the Institute of Biomechanics – here, distances are short and the opportunities are endless. Right in the heart of the Müngersdorf Sports Park, nestled within Cologne’s green belt, a special place is taking shape where modern sports facilities, teaching and research are closely intertwined. Surrounded by plenty of greenery, the campus becomes a space that inspires, fosters connections and where learning, working and physical activity go hand in hand as a matter of course.

University merchandise from our Spohoshop

Kleidungsstücke der Deutschen Sporthochschule im Spoho-Shop

Whether it’s a cosy hoodie, sportswear, socks, a trendy T-shirt, a rucksack or a breakfast board – the German Sport University Cologne’s sports shop offers a wide range of merchandise. Another nice touch: discarded sports equipment is recycled and repurposed – for example, into key rings. It’s well worth a visit! In person in the canteen foyer or online.
