GSU Ideathon

Create. Pitch. Network.

Do you have a start-up idea related to sport, exercise and health? As part of our ideas competition, the DSHS Ideathlon, start-up ideas are presented in the form of a poster session. Here, you can present your idea with no risk involved. You’ll receive initial feedback on your idea from recognised experts and enjoy plenty of networking opportunities over a relaxed drink. The most exciting ideas will be pitched to the expert jury. This will increase the visibility of your idea, opening up further funding and support.

Participants in the DSHS Ideathlon are exempt from applying for Phase 1 of the university’s own incubator programme, StarS-Kader, and are automatically included in the selection process if they’re interested. In the StarS-Kader programme, you can systematically develop your idea further and, with support, take the next steps towards bringing it to life.

All with no risk – and plenty of fun and great feedback!
