The M.A. in Game Analysis provides in-depth knowledge of the analysis of sporting matches and combines the latest academic research with practical applications. During the programme, you will learn to systematically collect and evaluate match and performance data, and to apply this data across a range of fields – from coaching and performance development to media coverage.
The programme focuses on developing a critical understanding of analytical procedures, data interpretation and innovative methods of Game Analysis. You will engage with modern analytical concepts, learn to scientifically investigate practical issues and develop solutions to specific challenges encountered in everyday sporting life.
Through the close integration of academia and practice, you will acquire the skills to act as a bridge between research, coaching, the media and the performance sector. The modules take place in compact blocks of face-to-face teaching and can therefore be easily combined with full-time employment.
