A Lifelong Fight Against Doping – Doping Researcher Mario Thevis Receives the Fresenius Prize

The German Chemical Society (GDCh) is awarding the Fresenius Prize to Professor Dr. Mario Thevis of the German Sport University Cologne. He is receiving the award, which includes a gold medal and prize money of 7,500 euros, for outstanding contributions to analytical chemistry. Through his work, the internationally renowned doping expert demonstrates how important and relevant analytical chemistry is to society. Thevis will receive the award on April 11 during ANAKON 2023 in Vienna. The Analytical Chemistry Division Award and the DAAS Award will also be presented at the event.
