Since 2013, the Institute for European Sports Development and Leisure Research has been collaborating with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the field of Sport for Development. On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), GIZ supports disadvantaged children and youth through initiatives in the field of Sport for Development (S4D) as part of its international development cooperation efforts. The activities focus on topics such as education, employability, violence prevention, inclusion, gender equality, and migration.
As part of the collaboration with GIZ, this project focuses on quality assurance for the online workshops and offerings of the Learning Lab on the S4D community platform. The project aims to improve the quality of web and online courses in the areas of gender equality, employability, social cohesion, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
